There’s a new restaurant in town, Selanne Steak Tavern. It is the old French 75 spot and owned by the famous Duck’s hockey player Teemu Selanne. It is quite the scene and nice to have a new hot spot to frequent in Laguna Beach. The best part is that when I was there last week I ran into my talented friend Katharine, designer and owner of Katharine Story boutique. I used to visit her store in Laguna on Ocean Avenue and loved her innovative fashions and one of a kind artistic pieces. I had not known she moved to a stellar space right next to Selanne!!! Last night, I decided to have a visit before a night out and fell in love with her new space! Its so quaint and even has a working fireplace, and a cozy couch…so inviting! Katharine’s pieces are truly one of a kind.
I was most impressed with her fur collection. My favorite pieces….long shearling vest with insane gold crochet back. Each vest has a different back as well. Such a functional piece and very wearable.
Another gorgeous piece is this multi color fur vest. I love it over a black dress or again with jeans. Perfect for our climate in CA!
How fun is this fur collar? It even has a tail!!!! Just chic and practical enough to keep your neck nice and warm on a cold night.
